So much of marketing and creative work is about engaging audiences through powerful story-telling. These days, video is an essential tool for doing just that through all sorts of digital media styles and platforms. Over the last 20 years I’ve done everything from being a one-man video production and editing crew to serving as Executive Producer and Director for larger crews on video productions all across North America. These shoots have included everything from being on-location in the snowy peaks of Alaska to the streets of NYC to the tropical island of Puerto Rico to hundreds of studio shoots and social shorts.
Behind this small sampling of videos are writers, editors, audio techs, make-up artists, lighting specialists, producers and so many others that have combined their skills to share these stories with the world. My role in each project varies based on budget, size of the production and capabilities of the crew. Sometimes I operate as Executive Producer or Director and sometimes I'll fill in gaps where resources are needed. On most productions my role includes some combination of creative direction, producing, interviewing, music selection, edit approvals & script supervision.
